Shift Change

Have you ever made such a change in your schedule that your sleep pattern is disrupted for days? (Kinda like bringing home a new baby...) Take a morning person, who loves to watch the sun rise, take her off her shift of choice: 0500-1500, and make her come to work at 1500 and try to stay awake until 0100... When you are used to being able to go to bed between 2000 and 2100, once the kids are all tucked in bed, keeping your eyes open past 2200 becomes a chore. Now, multiply that by two...my new shift partner, Karen, just came off the other 0500-1500 shift. So, if you have the time, send some caffeine!

Maybe we should try eyelid stickers!




Why risk getting caught sleeping at work when you can wear these eyelid stickers? Put simply, "slap 'em on your closed eyelids and learn to sleep sitting up."

I think I would rather drink coffee! :(
